It's been a semi-busy month. Multiple trips made to the engine shop. The original ask was to clean all the parts, magnaflux and check for cracks (and repair any they find, if possible), cut out that broken head stud (that I got an easy-out broken off in), clean up the flywheel (including cutting out some broken bolts & installing helicoils where necessary), polish the crank, cut the block for "modern" bearings, deck the block, plane the head, and a few other odds and ends.

Shop called me back and told me one cylinder was shot (one had also been "sleeved" in the past) - they rebored everything to .060" over, and they needed me to bring pistons & push rods so they could get the cylinders cut to close tolerance, and also ensure they got the correct sized bearings & for the crank polish.

Turns out I forgot to bring the valves to the shop. They called & I said they couldn't find them, even though I aske them to grind them ... Here's some nasty-looking valvles, ready to go up. Current plan is to keep the originals.
